In a nutshell I was a graphic designer with over 10 years experience working both freelance and as an in-house corporate graphic designer. For much of my career I worked for and with some of the world's best outdoor brands and several outdoor adventure operators.
Then in 2018 I decide to go back to my outdoor roots and retrained at TAFE in Tasmania as an Adventure and MTB guide. Since then I have worked for several companies and still work for Tas Walking Co as a guide on walks such as Bay of Fires and Great Ocean Walk. I have also hiked most of Tasmania’s amazing popular tracks, covered a fair bit on NZ (I lived there for 16 years) and love to MTB or SUP whenever I can.
When I'm not working you'll find me out trail running, walking the dog or carving wooden spoons.
I once lived in the Rainforests of Tanzania for 3 months working on a conservation project which eventually led the the discovery of several new species and created a new National Park.
I'm a qualified watersports instructor and have spent many years helping to teach the young and old to enjoy Dinghy Sailing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Windsurfing and Jet Skiing.
I carve wooden spoons and teach classes so you can learn too, it's a great way to be creative and produce a beautiful keepsake
